Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Schulten is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Schulten graduated from St. Xavier High School, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree at Centre College, and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1996.

After finishing his oral surgery residency at Christiana Health Care Systems in Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Schulten returned home to serve the Louisville community, beginning private practice in 2001.

A diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Schulten is also an active member of the following professional organizations:

• Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
• Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
• National Dental Board of Anesthesiology

Today, Dr. Schulten takes pride in providing exceptional, state-of-the-art care to all patients in need of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Schulten and his wife Michelle have two children, Trent and Meredith, with whom he likes to promote a healthy and active lifestyle by golfing and swimming.
